I am a Ph.D. in Economics with a concentration in International Money & Finance from Claremont Graduate University, California. I am passionate about yoga, meditation, hiking, and visiting places of historic significance.

I am trained in empirical  Macroeconomics and Finance. My research interests include Cryptocurrencies, Portfolio Management, Asset Pricing,  and understanding Macroeconomic Variables and their impact on the Economy. I am currently focused on analyzing different financial aspects of Cryptocurrencies such as the time evolution in comovements between major cryptocurrencies, detecting unstable periods if cryptocurrencies can be used in active portfolio management,  Tail dependencies, and aspects of sentiment in the cryptocurrencies market.

I am currently working as a Senior Data Scientist for Reach Financial, LLC.
